Frequently asked questions
How much is it?
$6.00 for one keychain. Order 5 or more in a single line and every one of them drops to $4.00 — that tier is what makes a party bag or a classroom set work out. Delivery is $3.60 on top, and free over the threshold shown in your cart.
Bitpert Limited is not registered for GST, so there is no GST on your order and we cannot issue a GST invoice. The price you see is the price you pay.
How long does it take?
Your keychain does not exist until you order it — nothing here is pulled off a shelf. It normally goes on the printer within a day of the order landing, and posts the next working day. New Zealand delivery after that is NZ Post's letter service.
For Christmas: order by Wed, 16 December. After that we cannot promise it arrives in time, and we would rather say so now than take the money.
Can I have a macron? Can I have a long name?
Yes, and yes. Every font on the designer carries the full set of macron vowels — ā, ē, ī, ō, ū — so a name is spelt the way it is spelt. Long names are not truncated either: the letters are sized to fit the keychain rather than the keychain refusing the name.
There is a point where a name genuinely will not work, and the designer tells you before you pay rather than after. It is usually a handwriting font where the letters do not quite join.
What if I spell it wrong?
The preview on the product page is the actual shape we print — same letters, same two colours, same file that goes to the printer. What you see there is what arrives, including a typo. Please read it twice.
If you spot a mistake straight after ordering, email us at contactcraftery@gmail.com as soon as you can. If it has not been printed yet we will simply fix it.
Is the name a sticker?
No. The name is printed as a second solid standing on the plate, in a different filament — not a sticker, not paint, not engraving. It cannot peel off, and it is still there after a year on a schoolbag.
The plate itself is the name too: there is no rectangle behind the letters. The backing is grown out of the letterforms, which is why the outline is different for every name.
What is it made of?
PLA, a hard plastic made from plant starch. It is rigid rather than bendy, it does not mind rain, and it should be kept out of a hot car — a closed car in summer gets hot enough to soften it.
Can I pick it up instead of paying for delivery?
Not through the checkout yet — every order on the site is posted. If you are in Auckland and would rather collect, email us before you order and we will sort it out between us. See delivery and pickup.
Something is wrong with my order
Tell us and we will fix it — see returns and faults, which also explains why a personalised piece cannot be returned for a change of mind and what your rights are regardless.
