Privacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
Bitpert Limited, trading as Craftery, collects as little as it can get away with. This policy says what that is in plain terms.
What we collect
Only what an order needs:
- The name or text you want printed, and the design choices you made.
- Your name, email address, delivery address and phone number.
- A record of the order itself — what you bought, when, and its status.
The phone number is there because couriers ask for one. The email address is how we send your confirmation and tell you when the parcel is on its way.
What we never collect
- Your card number. Payment goes directly to Stripe. We never see it and it never touches our servers.
- Accounts or passwords. There is no login on this site.
- Advertising cookies. We run no ads and no ad pixels, and we have switched off the ad-related features of the analytics we do use — see below.
- A marketing list. We do not email you unless it is about your order.
Analytics, and what they record
We use two measurement tools, and we would rather describe them properly than bury them in a list:
- Google Analytics — counts visits and tells us which pages people actually read. It sets cookies. We have turned off ad personalisation and Google's advertising signals, and IP addresses are anonymised.
- Microsoft Clarity — records how pages are used: scrolling, clicks, where people get stuck. This one does make a replay of your visit, so it is worth being exact about the limits. Text you type into any field is masked before it is recorded, which includes the name you are putting on your keychain. Card details are never on our site at all — payment happens on Stripe's own pages.
Neither runs on our own order-management pages, so nothing about your order is ever replayed.
If you would rather not be measured, every major browser has a setting for blocking these, and nothing on this site stops working if you use it.
Who else sees it
Three, each doing one job:
- Stripe — takes the payment and holds the card details.
- Resend — sends the order and shipping emails.
- Cloudflare — runs the site and stores the order records.
- Google and Microsoft — the analytics described above.
Nobody else. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them for anyone else's marketing.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Order records are stored with Cloudflare, which may hold them on servers outside New Zealand. We keep them while we may still need them — to remake a faulty piece, to answer a question about an old order, and to meet the record-keeping the tax rules require — and no longer.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. We will not charge you for asking.
Email contactcraftery@gmail.com and we will reply within 20 working days, which is what the Act allows.
If you are not happy with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
